Describe your experience giving and getting feedback in this course?
- It’s always easy for me to share my ideas in class
- I feel like giving and recieving feedback is rather open in this course, and everybody often reflects on our work together. This makes it an open environment for feedback to flow.

- there hasn’t been a lot of individual feedback but the feedback to section groups has always been clear and direct while being constructive which is great
- We didn’t have many opportunities for this, but the feedback on our sight reading hw was constructive and pretty helpful.
- For the 411 survey, it seems a little weird asking what the projects are because we don’t really have any
- It’s sometimes hard but i always have Ms Ellingson to help me along the way
- we spend time at the beginning and ends of trimesters to give feedback and learn about what the plan in for that tri or next. but i don’t feel like we get a lot of individual feedback on how our own development of our voices is going
- Better than most classes. It’s always positive here.
- N/A
- Its really easy to get feed back because everyone knows each other and it is a good community
- I think getting individual feedback in choir is a little difficult, but we get feedback for our section and then we are able to apply that to ourselves which is helpful
- My experience has been good. I have not done a lot where i get feedback individually but together as a section we learn to work together to fix things and give feedback to people.

- I felt like a 8 because I still am not the most comfortable singing in front of a crowd, but singing in a choir has helped me realize that it is okay if you make mistakes.

- 4 – there is not very much room to grow
- 5, it’s not that it is I don’t feel safe in the environment it’s that I am not very comfterable with singing

Describe your experience giving and getting feedback in this course?
- it was fun.
- Great
- I liked the feedback I got, because it helped me improve my voice.
- I got a lot of good feedback on my singing that really helped.
- Ms. Ellingson would always be supportive of what I would do.
- It is really easy everyone is so positive.
- She gave good feedback that made sense.
- Whenever I gave feedback Ms. Ellingson would always take it into consideration, and when we were given feedback it was given in a kind manner but we still constantly improved from it.
- I think that the feedback worked a lot, but I don’t think I gave any feedback
- It is really good and it fills in a lot of the information that I want to say. The feedback was really helpful because my singing was a lot better after taking the feedback given to me.
- I think out teacher is very good at giving feedback about certain moments in songs, like diction and emotion, etc. We all took this feedback well, and our concert showed how much we had learned from it.
- I felt comfortable to express myself and told her a few times whether I thought we needed to improve on something.
- i got alot of singing loud but not have it sound like we arent yelling
- The main feedback I gave was about which songs I wanted to sing, such as when we were discussing/voting on certain songs for the concert. I also gave feedback about our singing in Sally Gardens by pointing out the lyrical differences that we needed to remember. I appreciated the feedback we got from Ms. Ellingson about our singing, including suggestions about emotion and volume.
- I think that i got alot of feedback from my teacher from when we were practicing for the performance.
- Ms. Ellingson gave very detailed feedback, and was able to work with us on a personal level which helped with my performance.
- She always helps us sing better as a class, which I think is great.
- Ms. Ellingson was really nice about giving us feedback. She’s supportive and nice while still being critical and I can tell she wants us to sound good.
- I think that the teacher did a very good job giving prompt feedback to us students in a kind manner and reminding us to act on that feedback.
- It is very easy getting feedback, Ms. Ellingson to me is a very straight person with feedback and I really like that.
- I think that the feedback is really good and not too criticizing
- I don’t feel comfortable giving feedback because it is not an open enough place to say that we would like to do something different. I don’t get feedback. this is not a student oriented class. It is made to mold the entire class as one. I think this should be different. Maybe a TA could help
- I think you did a great job and you explained things clearly so we could actually improve
